We have 15 active and dues paying members. We never charge for an investigation but if you would like you can make a donation to Paypal using csghosthunters@yahoo.com. We will gladly accept and use all donations and dues to help with investigation and travel costs.
Our members are devoted to finding the truth for every situation. We are a professional group who do not use psychics or mediums, but rely on hard physical evidence that is recorded. If we have some one in our mist that believes they have the gift then they are encouraged to write it down on a form and not share with the group but turn it in and during evidence review and historical background we can maybe validate their feelings for them. Our member have backgrounds in law enforcement, advanced educations in a variety of fields, including communications, electronics, psychology, genealogy and history.
When we schedule an investigation we send in up to 6 investigators, and a large assortment of electronic equipment and recording devices. If it is a large venue we may have up to 2 extra command center professionals. Each case is tended to according to the needs of the family or business. We do approx. 3-5 investigations a month. We will travel out of our area depending on availability.
We approach things from a professional scientific aspect. We look to debunk information then use the electronics of the field to help use examine the evidence and determine its origins. We also offer full support for people who are experiencing paranormal phenomena. We worked diligently to inform and educate the general public about what we do and why it matters.
We have space for new members, and are looking for Command Center Techs, and people looking to work behind the scenes, Historians, evidence analysis, etc. Remember you work for free. We provide a service to our clients.
The equipment we use consist of K-2 meters, digital and film cameras, audio digital and analog recorders, EMF detectors, IR thermometers, DVR with IR cameras, motion detectors, microphones, PC with sound software (Cool Edit Pro - Audacity) to analyze audio files. We NEVER alter a piece of evidence. Unless evidence is captured on video or audio, it's merely a personal experience that cannot be substantiated.
When we are done an investigation, we analyze the evidence and all data collected. We use a two (2) person method and various computer programs. We will then make 2 DVD disc’s one for the file and one for the client. This disc will have DVR, video and recorded EVPs, photos and a final summery report for the client to keep and review.
